Defence Jobs Queensland at LAND FORCES

The Land Forces International Land Defence Exposition – Australia’s premier land defence industry event – will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 11-13 September 2024.

This biennial event showcases technology, equipment and services related to the land defence sector.

Land Forces provides an interface between Australian, regional and international industry on every level, from Defence Force customers to prime contractors and small to medium enterprises.

Queensland Government stand

The Queensland Government and Defence Jobs Queensland will have a high-profile, open-plan stand at the event, positioned to take full advantage of prime defence contractors and Australian Army representatives.

DJQ is partnering with some of Queensland’s leading defence industry businesses on the stand to promote our state’s cutting-edge capabilities.

  • Asia Pacific Aerospace (APA) is an Australian company offering gas turbine maintenance, repair and overhaul for the GE-T700 series engines, as well as the Rolls Royce M250 and 300 series engines. APA is contracted to the US Navy for the T700 engines flown in the ROMEO helicopters by the Australian Navy. APA has facilities in Australia and Singapore.

  • Craig International Ballistics (CIB) has been an Australian manufacturer of ballistic protection systems for military and law enforcement end users for more than two decades. CIB specialises in producing a range of products including body armour, shields, panels and transparent armour, and has gained a reputation for innovation and reliability.

  • ECLIPS Logistics is an Australian, veteran-owned engineering business developing solutions for digitally integrated supply chains and autonomous systems. ECLIPS Logistics develops solutions to improve productivity, performance and safety across customer’s equipment fleets and logistics operations.   • Queensland Defence Science Alliance (QDSA) is a university-led initiative funded by the Queensland Government, the Defence Science and Technology Group and member universities Griffith University, James Cook University, The University of Queensland and Charles Darwin University. QDSA is also a part of the Australian Defence Science and Universities Network (ADSUN).
